two seconds away
Patrick Largen and Tim Seley make up "two seconds away". Mixing music with technology (and hoping things don't blow up) they offer a sound and experience that's engaging and memorable.
To kick start their musical endeavor in Kansas City, Patrick and Tim started up a song a week project at NewMusicMonday.com where they write, record, and release a new song every Monday. Since starting the project in October of 2008, two seconds away has already had over a quarter of a million downloads and been featured in iTunes.
A handful of their songs have been selected for placement in the upcoming full length indie film "Works in Progress" which is slated for a late 2009 release.
Using Ableton Live the duo is able to create rich soundscapes with their real time looping and layering of emotive vocal melodies, effects, instruments and other random sounds, leaving audiences mesmerized.
