The Merchants of Bliss are the iconic, lamentatious, and usually foggy-minded duo of Steve Mozes & Will Appleton. This partnership was formed in 2006 on a warm winter's evening in a moment of drunken neighbors greeting each other from afar... and from there.. it's been years of musical bliss... and shenanigans.

The Merchants of Bliss enjoy; Trivial Pursuit. Smoking. Beautiful, Classy Women. Musics. Films. Xbox Live. Small Animals. Nature. Sushi. and other wonderful things.

Full of ambient room tones, and even some happy mistakes, we've been classified by friends as, "Avant Garde Folk Rock". We don't know how to take that, but it's definitely hard to put our sound into the classification box. The Merchants of Bliss sound is the culmination of our influences of pre/post 80's rock n' roll all the way back to Chopin and all the way up to Radiohead. We like our recordings to sound like us, and a completely polished project is devoid of true character in our humble opinion. So here we are. Enjoy!

I HAD to start with pork chops. I don't know if that was the right place to start, but since I'm doing the chair slide I'm thinking it was right and proper. Most fabulous!!!
