Steve Martin

Steve Martin (ASCAP) has over 15 years of experience as a designer for marching band and drum corps, both visually and musically. He is Vice-President of Gary P. Gilroy Publications and coordinates the business and sales operations for the company. He is also a composer and drill designer.

Currently, Steve works as a clinician with several high schools in Northern Nevada, as well as writing and consulting for several other bands across the United States. He is now A.B.D. in the Doctorate of Musical Arts program at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona and is continuing his research from Reno, Nevada.

Steve has written for and worked with numerous high school programs across the country, including many which compete at the national level. These bands include Bainbridge HS, Beaufort HS, Clovis HS, Clovis West HS, Del Oro HS, Desert Mountain HS, Bakersfield HS, De La Salle HS, Edgewood HS, Elgin HS, Fort Hill HS, Fred C. Beyer HS, Greene County Tech HS, Higley HS, Hoover HS, Hug HS, Lancaster HS, Madera HS, and Merced HS, Miami Sunset HS, Monmouth Regional HS, Nevada Union HS, Reno HS, Sharpstown HS, Spanish Springs HS, Travis HS, White Pigeon HS, Willowridge HS and Wyandotte HS. Mr. Martin has also provided arrangements and design for Arizona State University, California State University, Fresno, the University of Nevada and the University of South Carolina.
