Mark Johnson did it all.

The melon dropped down into the murky pond
And I walked into the library
Its a hot day outside and my sweat is pourin down, like a sheet off of my face
With a splash of green and darker green
A forest of colors wet and rainbow
The drops fall from mid-air
And they land back down pitter pat
I'm just short of soaked when I walk into a blast of air conditioned air
And I walk up to the checkout desk and I ask if my books are in
No sir, why are you so wet
A melon fell into a pond
I see, but why did that happen man
It was too ripe for the sky to hold on
So it fell from the clouds where it formed
and down into the murky pond it crashed
I guess the storm gods struck it down
With a lightning bolt and a thunder blast that melon is floating on lily pads
And I've got an eye for toads
The gnats are out and biting fast
And I've got an eye for toads
The melon sunk to the bottom of the pond
and my sweat was finally dry
What a fabulous day for the melon drops
and the frogs rainbows and clouds
And the ripples finally died.

  • Title: Song About a Melon
  • Artist: Mikan Run
  • Duration: 00:02:16
  • Played: 21
  • Date Recorded: Feb 7th, 2010

Recorded without proper amplification or something, so I gained it artificially in logic by like 6 db, which makes it sound really rough and brings out the background static... Yummy amateur goodness.
