    Drew Meez on the Keys

I just uploaded some of my older solo tracks for your enjoyment and/or belittlement. I am currently working on uploading some live Gravity A. We have hours and hours of unedited, uncut live recordings of decent quality. Most live stuff of us out there on archive and whatnot is pretty old, and I intend to change that with some of this more recent stuff. Of course, you can always check out some tracks off the album at gravitya.com or our myspace. I just wanna get some more current stuff in circulation.

I'm also working on getting the M@ Peoples Collective demo up on here. Just as soon as the MC (Mr. M@ Peoples) finishes laying down the vocals in the studio.

I just added lots of events for both groups. Highlights include Bear Creek Music Fest in Florida and Trinumeral in Asheville. There's also the Halloween freakout on Halloween night on Frenchmen St. This is the 3rd year in a row we've done it with Mike Dillon and 2nd in a row with Tim Green. This is my favorite gig every year, and this year promises to be the best yet.

M@ Peoples will also more than likely be performing at Tipitina's in early September as well. I haven't added that yet, as it's not set in stone. But, we should be opening for a national HipHop act. (Gift of Gab?)

This Tuesday, June 9, Hip Hop for Hope is putting on a show at the Dragon's Den (French Quarter/Marigny area). Hip Hop for Hope does a lot of good things for the community, as you can read about at their site hiphopforhope.org . My new, up & coming rap project, the M@ Peoples Collective, will be performing at 10:30 upstairs. MC M@ Peoples himself will be the front man for drummer Foo and Key-J Drew Meez from Gravity A. There is a $5 cover, all of which goes to Hip Hop for Hope. We are playing this gig for free to help the cause. There are other well known local hiphop groups playing. The music should start as early as 9pm.

    Hope to see ya there
