A fellow refugee from thesixtyone.com - this rebuilding of community is great. Even though it takes a bit to get used to, I never thought I'd see a site have such an impact on so many people. Glad we've found a new home!

Thanks Uvumi.com!

  • Simple works!

Mine is pretty simple now. I've got a couple of interfaces; a black lion audio modded digi 002 from Digidesign and a Presonus Firepod. The firepod really needs an external clock as it's pretty jittery, but the modded 002 rocks. Then I record into either Pro Tools or Nuendo. I'm really aiming to get a tape machine and console at some point as that's what I'm used to, but money doesn't grow on trees anymore. I wish people still traded spices as currency...

Yeah, the business side is no fun for sure! Huzzah for home studios! I've got some decent gear, but I'm Kerouacin' it (living the vagrant life) currently and moving around the country right now... so It's quite hard to record anything when I have to set up and tear down all within a day. Hopefully I'll be getting settle somewheres in Pennsylvania in the near future, and be able to start my own home/pro studio. I managed a studio before I started moving around, and I definitely want to get back to it!

That was a bit of a long-winded answer, but thanks for asking! What kind of gear/setup do you like to use?

Maybe we have met. I've recorded a bunch of different projects there with various bands before I went in 2006. What're you doing nowadays?

Thanks - you should make one. It's really easy with this site. I've been using to get gigs lately... I don't think they even read it, it's just a "fancy" thing that makes me look more professional lol
