  hey nigel! yep good to hear from you. the band is in quiet mode right now - ted our guitar player and song writer had an unfortunate incident between an electric gardening tool (a saw of some sort) and his guitar hand - no joke - about a month ago. he's been healing and still has his finger though it's numb in spots. apparently when he went into the emergency room he was making jokes about trying out for "evil dead 3". well at least hes keeping his sense of humor. he says if worst comes to worst he can be our conductor, and wave a baton around. i think that would be kind of cool actually. think of how much fun you could have with that during a live show.

  hey nigel - good to hear from you. yep explosions in the sky is actually from austin (where i live, and where uvumi is based). they were a local band that played around town for a while before becoming more successful; various people around here used to watch them when they were not as well known (i never saw them at that time though; oh well can't meet all the bands you'd like to).

I had a quick week on the slopes (free chalet usage but still an expensive treat). Cheeze fondue and some excellent dole red wines (from the vallée). off to scotland now for haggis party.

  hehe pretty cool. Someone should write an iphone app which detects news of airport/flight shutdowns, correlates that with the identity of passengers currently travelling in the area and then streams your song to them. btw i added an unpronouncable tag to your song.

Nice music, glad I found it, it is surely grand. To answer your purkinje question, purkinje cells are in the brain, purkinje fibers are in the heart - they conduct the electrical impulse that makes the heart beat :D

  thanks! yeah i hate that automated crap too. sometimes i'll get one of those from someone who hasn't hidden their "history" page. then i check their history and see that they haven't even listened to any of my bands songs. apparently they think this is like myspace and they want to rack up "friends" which then means that the count of "friends" becomes meaningless. whereupon i rudely deny the request :^)
