I am a 26 year old music loving male from Columbus,Ohio. I want to become a High School English Teacher. I like this site, but it does not quite inspire the need to log on every day.

I am also a wandering refugee from the once great T61. May it burn in some digital, fiery hell for forsaking its most outspoken and appreciative users.

itno the fiery pits of hell where it belongs. Works for me... and lots of others I am sure. I totally understand where you are coming from and I was still farily new there. But I am glad everyone got their thinking caps on and found us a new refuge. It will never be the same, but it can still be good! :-)

    All the monks?

Well, it's because I'm a primatologist. Monkeys are my great love. By the way, very nice to see you here. I'm still working my way around the place but really like it so far.

Hope that things are well with you!

I didn't even know Owl City was playing. Haha, shows how much I get out.

Yeah, I wrote this on someone else's wall, but it seems like everyone from T61 is regrouping right now. I keep finding people all over the place and hopefully their experience with T61 won't sour their interest with online music. I'm glad you found "Brownie" and my artist page again. It should be complete in a couple of days as soon as I can get caught up. I hope you keep checking back and that I hear from you soon. - William

I agree that in looks alone, it is light years ahead of the old platform. Too bad they couldn't just leave it as that. Sure the old site may have given an advantage to people who knew the exploits, but I hadn't heard of anyone leaving because the old format was "unfair". They basically fixed a non-issue to create a much larger one. Shame. Market research is everything.

You ever get out anywhere around town? RJD2 is going to be at Skully's on 2/6.

I saw a tech blog about how great the redesign of T61 was and the users predictably hated it, but they would all eventually "get over it". With our community intact now on Uvumi, I think it's safe to say we're over it.
