A Future in Noise: Independent Music Discoveries: Issue #30
"...debut album, which has a cover inset with descriptions of edible plants. The finished product retains the enterprising spirit of the earlier material I had heard, taken to more exploratory heights and with a variety of complex instrumental stylings. "Will You Marry Me" is a good example of the signature Eat the Weeds sound; poppy and accessible amidst a rustic, worldly intrigue. You can certainly hear why Eat the Weeds' Daniela Antlova has Sia and Lykke Li in her top friends on MySpace Music, while at the same time she's a confident and determined lyricist and vocalist with her own curious flair. My favorite track here is the moody and dramatic "Lay Me Down". Definitely a recommended album!"http://www.afutureinnoise.com/2010/03/independent-music-discoveries-issue-30.html

Capital Rock City #93 // Eat the Weeds, Look Medusa, Acres of Lions, Tegan and Sara (DJ Murge Remix)
"CRC 93 starts off with one of the more interesting indie rockers I’ve heard in awhile. The artist goes by Eat the Weeds. She has some world beat type stuff going on."
