Out of curiosity, does the song name have any relevance to the musician Poe's song from the album "Haunted"? Because that's one of my favorite Poe songs.

  It actually does, in a round-about way.
  
  The Five and a Half Minute Hallway is a fictional video in the book House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski. Mark's sister is Anne Danielewski, aka Poe. Haunted was based primarily on the book.
  
  If you haven't read House of Leaves, I definitely recommend it.

    I've heard a lot about the book, but I've not taken the initiative to read it. FYI, it appears Poe might actually be active again after ten years. (Well, one can hope.)http://realpoe.ning.com Plenty of new activity being sparked over there.
